Many "christian" supporters of homosexual behavior speak a meaningless "love" gospel. They quote verse 1 from Matthew 7 claiming that we are to "Judge not, that ye be not judged." However, if this verse is taken in and of itself out of context, then the Sword of the Spirit (God's Word) is become like a covered candle, unable to guide those around with its light.
We must therefore read verse two, which goes on to say "For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again."
God's Law is the standard, a standard to which all of mankind has fallen short. Because I bear witness to the truth in claiming that homosexual behavior is a sin does not mean that I am better than anyone else that may or may not commit this sin. I must also bear witness to the whole truth, however, and let the world know that just as Christ died for me, a sinner, he also died for you. Just as the prodigal son's father in Luke 15 was watching and longing for his son to return at last, so too is Christ waiting for you. Don't let pride keep you from his forgiveness!
